Inspection Report of News Coverage by Regional Print and Broadcast Media in Andhra Pradesh By: 44th Review Committee of the Press Commission of India (PCI) To: The Press Commission of India January 2023 People involved Harshitha Gadde, senior advisor at PCI Viaan Sundar, former editor-in chief of PARI (People’s Archive of Rural India) Introduction The Press Commission of India has constituted a review committee to review the news coverage in Andhra Pradesh by the regional print and broadcast media. As part of the review, a 4-membered committee is assigned to submit an inspection report to the review committee. The inspection team observed and noted their findings over a period of 6 months from June 2022 to December 2022, by closely observing the workings of all the 9 newspapers and 18 broadcast news channels in Andhra Pradesh.
